Context Window

The maximum amount of text an LLM can process in a single request, measured in tokens. GPT-4 Turbo has a 128K context window (~300 pages). Context windows matter for GEO because AI search engines stuff retrieved web pages into this window before generating answers. Pages that are concise, well-structured, and front-load key information have a higher chance of being cited.
